I negotiate and manage partnerships with the AUNZ News and Publishing Industry. This involves:Strategy and product go-to-market: I design go-to-market strategy with product teams across products like Google Search, News, Showcase, Assistant and Books. For example I developed the go to market strategy and successfully launched Google News Showcase in Australia. Commercial negotiations: I negotiate content deals with the AUNZ News and Publishing Industry to ensure our products have the right content integrations. For example I have led negotiations with some of the largest media companies in AUNZ. Relationship management: I am responsible for Google’s overall relationship with a number of the largest media companies in Australia. These relationships are multifaceted and cover a large number of products and commercial arrangements. Government and regulatory engagement: I work with government and regulators to explain how Google’s products work and how they impact the news industry and users. I play a key role in Google’s response to the News Media Bargaining Code.

The Disability Alliance advocates internally and externally, and undertakes a number of projects each year to make Google a more inclusive place to work.
