Restart NI is a Game Development training program ran by Northern Ireland Screen. Over the course of 4 months You participate in lessons and industry talks provided by members of NI Screen and the NI Game Development industry. the goal of participating in the course is to allow people with an interest in Games Development to learn the Unity Game Engine with the opportunity to become a Certified Associate Game Developer at the end of the course. The course also contains a 2 week hackathon that will allow the participants to work with others in a team and create a game with their newly acquired knowledge.

This is a part time position where I aid the Professor during the practical classes of the first year programming module. I am responsible for 2 groups of 8 students, where I help with minor problems and report the progress of students to the professor. This allows me to gain experience with helping others with less experienced than me and focus on my communication skills when explaining new concepts.

I spent the summer working in the D3 department of Allstate as an Analyst Engineer, Where I worked primarily with Java and SpringBoot.

I completed my placement year at Allstate NI as a junior TIBCO developer for DCF, I worked in a feature team within a SAFe Framework and gained valuable skills in areas such as unit testing with SOAP UI, deployments using Jenkins pipeline and working on feature branches with GitHub.
