With the ever increasing importance of sustainability to businesses, tax as a fundamental element of an organisation's societal contribution has never been as high up the agenda of business leaders as it is now. In my role I help business to gather data on their total tax contribution, to manage their tax governance systems and to consider their tax reporting in the broader context of sustainability.I also work with clients on various aspects of country by country reporting including preparing for EU public country by country reporting, the interaction of OECD Pillar 2 with country by country reporting and on country by country reporting as included in a range of reporting regimes.

I work with our tax and legal network and territory leaders in EMEA to develop and promote solutions for our clients across EMEA and to drive industry insights across the whole range of our tax, legal and people services. I also continue to be very active in the fields of tax policy, tax transparency and in our collaboration with the World Bank on Paying Taxes.

Promoted to Senior Manager in July 2014, I work on a number of thought leadership publications on tax policy and administration including Paying Taxes which is part of the World Bank's Doing Business project. I also advise companies on Country by Country Reporting and other corporate tax transparency matters.

The PwC Total Tax Contribution ("TTC") team helps to inform the global debate on taxation by assisting companies and industries to better understand the tax that they pay and to communicate this effectively.Tax is an important factor in delivering shareholder value and managing corporate reputation.Businesses are facing greater pressure from a range of stakeholders to be more transparent about their tax positions. The PwC TTC framework provides a standardised approach to identify and measure a company’s overall tax contribution. It’s a framework that can be used on a country-by-country, industry and/or global basis.
