I have spent my entire career (50 years) in industrial plant and machinery manufacturing - half with manufacturers and the other half with consulting engineers.Areas of experience have included Biomass Energy, Dehydration Systems, Pulp and Paper, Pressure Vessels, Hydro Penstocks, Sawmills, Engineered Wood Products (EWP), Plywood, OSB, LVL, MDF, Particleboard, and Wood Plastic Composites (WPC)Other endeavors have included the management of a high-temperature insulated ducting manufacturing facility and the installation of several veneer dryer conversions from NG to wood biomass hot gases. Engineering of biomass fluid bed combustion and gasification energy systems. Process piping systems for HRSGs, nuclear pressure vessels, AWWA and API field erected tanks, Grain storage and transfer terminals, Ag-mobile equipment swathers, pellet mills, dryers, cyclones, ESPs, and all types of conveying and transfer systems.

We manufacture, install and start-up our equipment as a turn-key supplier including both up-stream and down-stream equipment and auxiliary equipment/processes.

Over the course of several years as a result of economic collapse, and caring for parents with end of life needs, has resulted in three periods of employment with Evergreen. Most recently, full-time onsite at International Paper, Springfield, OR mill. Capital projects development and management. Construction coordination and management of contractors and EHS activities during mill outages and equipment repair or replacement. Was assigned to lead and manage an international greenfield plant LVL plant in Torzhok, Russia. Provided engineering management and design detailing through manufacturing and shipping of equipment stateside, then spent a year providing on-site construction management including start-up. All documentation was provided in dual language English with Russian translation.

Met with clients to define specific requirements, prepare proposals/estimates, and manage projects through completion. Overseen staff of 8, providing permit-ready structural drawings and calculations for Commercial and Residential Structures, Fire Stations, Schools, Churches, Multi-Family Dwellings, and Industrial Facilities.
