Throughout my career, I have been involved in virtually every aspect of the “Product Development Process”. I have experienced almost every role in the process from inventor, designer, and engineer to program manager and director of mechanical engineering. I have managed research teams challenged with developing new features and products as well as large cross-functional production development teams in multiple locations. Regardless of the role or the title I've always stayed focused on the profession of product design and development with the objective of delivering best in class products. I have evolved into a dynamic leader who believes that everyone can bring value given the opportunity. I fundamentally believe that strong relationships are the foundation on which success is achieved. I truly believe that no one can do it alone and that we fail and succeed together. I have utilized my natural curiosity and creative nature to drive innovative thinking at an individual level as well as within an organization.I have developed many types of products which include both mechanical and electromechanical systems for a variety of markets. These markets include children’s toys, industrial parts cleaners, medical devices, pinball machines, electronic control systems, and commercial fitness equipment. I have extensive CAD solid modeling experience as well as production design experience with many manufacturing processes including injection and rotational molding, thermoforming, die casting, powdered metal, extrusion (both plastic and aluminum), sheet metal stamping and welded fabrications, screw machining, etc. My patent portfolio includes 25 US patents issued to date.
