- Took samples of benthic aquatic macroinvertebrates to determine the quality of the streams and rivers within the Clinton River Watershed. - Identify benthic aquatic macroinvertebrates- Assist in the training of the Adopt-A-Stream program volunteers. - Coach the Adopt-A-Stream volunteers in the field.- Visit sites alone and collect data for Adopt-A-Stream.- Assist in teaching middle and high school students why the streams and rivers within the Clinton River Watershed are important and how to keep them clean.- Assist in the mentoring of children on how to determine the quality of the steam or river by looking at the "water bugs" and why they are important to the ecosystem. - Record data in the computer to maintain an ongoing description of the quality of the water in streams and rivers within the Clinton River Watershed.- Clean, organize, and maintain various equipment used for the Adopt-A-Stream program.
