Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance for data transport and security across the corporate LAN/WAN and within our load balanced web hosting environment. Manage the day-to-day technical operations of the network including new device deployment/configuration, network troubleshooting/performance review, configuration updates, and device OS upgrades to maintain stability, security, and availability of the network* Served as lead engineer on Cisco switch, router and firewall design and implementation, and collaborated with several teams to achieve our companies PCI compliance, and continue to collaborate with those teams to maintain this compliance for the past 10 years.* Serve as lead engineer for our Citrix Netscaler load balancing environment which comprised 8 HA VPX pairs hosted on 2 SDX 14040 devices.* Serve as SSL expert by managing our relationship with our public CA's while also managing an internal CA using OpenSSL.* Manage our DNS system which is a mesh of BIND and Microsoft DNS working together* Deploy and manage Cisco ASA and Cisco Firepower firewalls in both stand alone and multi-context configurations and manage the configuration of site to site VPN, AnyConnect client VPN, standard host/port ACL configuration, and Cisco IDFW ACL configuration* Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, and Server Engineers to schedule and coordinate tasks required for all new site and service implementations in our on site web hosting environment.* Collaborate with CMS team to coordinate and supply all SSL and DNS needs for all site migrations from local web hosting environment into EpiServer cloud environment.* Collaborate with Network Security team to create and maintain network configuration and SSL policies for the business* Plan, manage, and communicate with upper management to schedule and implement device configuration or OS updates required to maintain secure operation of our systems
