I was a retention and attainment officer for both the Lancashire Business School and Grenfell Baines school of Architecture Construction and Environment. Core responsibilities included: • Student support – Coaching and mentoring• Event planning/ management – Organizing university applicant days, open days, social events and recruitment fairs• Student recruitment – Speaking to prospective students both in person and over the phone about studying at the university• Clerical support – Updating website information, managing social media, developing user guides and support information, administration of documents required by students to support their time at Uclan• Generating awareness of the universities support services to both current and prospective students
