Starting out as an account executive, Tom enjoyed early success with NDS and was promoted to Sales Manager for the Indianapolis territory. Later on Tom was entrusted with improving the bottom line of the Nashville branch office. He took over operational duties, as well as sales responsibilities for Nashville in addition to maintaining his management of the Indianapolis sales territory. In 1998 NDS was acquired by Nazdar, and during the acquisition he was tasked to re-focuse his efforts on solely on sales while simultaneously leading his regional team through the transition to Nazdar. Following the transition to Nazdar, Tom took a new position with N. Glantz and Son. During his time with N. Glantz & Son Tom successfully managed both sales, and operations. Starting with a single branch with around $1.6m of revenue, Tom grew the business consistently and steadily to a multi-million dollar book of business over the past 16 years as a Regional Branch Manager. His primary responsibilities were sales, operations, and P&L. Tom directed a team of 5 Branch Managers in 5 states, and their respective staff (approximately 100 employees). Tom advanced to the Central Region Sales Director role to serve as a key member of management team, developing sales strategies and strengthening client relationships. Tom’s new responsibilities included supervising 14 Account Executives and business-development strategies to drive revenue growth in his region. Tom also has been a key member on the N. Glantz Executive Group since 2002. He directly worked with the President, Vice Presidents, and ownership to ensure long term success of N. Glantz & Son.
