Advise President and ACI-NA Board of Directors on legal issues affecting ACI-NA and Members. Provide legal guidance on airport policy and legislative issues to all ACI-NA Committee Secretaries and Senior Staff. Provide in-house legal services on a day-to-day basis on matters affecting the association. Provide information about legal issues in response to questions from airport attorneys and airport officials. Serve at Committee Secretary to the Legal Affairs and Business Diversity Committees of ACI-NA. Monitor federal regulatory actions and rulemakings and prepare or coordinate preparation of ACI-NA comments, petitions and recommendations. Represent ACI-NA in meetings and negotiations with government agencies, e.g., FAA, DOT, TSA, DHS, EPA, and FCC. Select and supervise law firms providing services to ACI-NA. Coordinate the preparation of ACI-NA amicus briefs. Represent ACI-NA on government/industry task forces. Make presentations at industry/government conferences on airport legal matters. Represent ACI-NA legal interests on issues involving other aviation trade associations including, A4A, AAAE, RAA, IATA, ACI World and the Worldwide Airport Lawyers Association. . Represent airport interests in professional legal associations, such as the Transportation and Transportation Security Law Section of the Federal Bar Association and the Air & Space Law Forum of the American Bar Association.

Advised airports on how to achieve their strategic goals while complying with federal requirements. Defended airports against allegations of federal regulatory and grant assurance violations by airport tenants and users. Negotiated agreements with airport tenants to promote airport interests. Worked to resolve issues informally with FAA, where possible

Defended airports in Part 16 administrative complaints, negotiated settlements with FAA, advised airports on compliance with federal requirements regarding airline rates and charges, noise, passenger facility charges, and fees imposed on off-airport rental car companies.

Helped devise and promote ACI-NA legislative and regulatory initiatives on passenger facility charges and a national noise policy. Helped defend airport proprietors' rights in litigation with airlines and car rental companies. Advised President and member airports on various strategic and legal issues
