General Counsel
CurrentAdvise President and ACI-NA Board of Directors on legal issues affecting ACI-NA and Members. Provide legal guidance on airport policy and legislative issues to all ACI-NA Committee Secretaries and Senior Staff. Provide in-house legal services on a day-to-day basis on matters affecting the association. Provide information about legal issues in response to questions from airport attorneys and airport officials. Serve at Committee Secretary to the Legal Affairs and Business Diversity Committees of ACI-NA. Monitor federal regulatory actions and rulemakings and prepare or coordinate preparation of ACI-NA comments, petitions and recommendations. Represent ACI-NA in meetings and negotiations with government agencies, e.g., FAA, DOT, TSA, DHS, EPA, and FCC. Select and supervise law firms providing services to ACI-NA. Coordinate the preparation of ACI-NA amicus briefs. Represent ACI-NA on government/industry task forces. Make presentations at industry/government conferences on airport legal matters. Represent ACI-NA legal interests on issues involving other aviation trade associations including, A4A, AAAE, RAA, IATA, ACI World and the Worldwide Airport Lawyers Association. . Represent airport interests in professional legal associations, such as the Transportation and Transportation Security Law Section of the Federal Bar Association and the Air & Space Law Forum of the American Bar Association.
