As the Sector Head of Semperian Handback at Semperian Assurance Services I'm responsible for facilitating and co-ordinating the development of ‘Handback’ compliance strategies for all PPP projects within the Semperian PPP Investment Partners Limited portfolio. I chair the multi-disciplinary ‘Semperian Handback Panel’ where compliance strategies are determined, and appropriate resources allocated to achieve the agreed objectives. I'm responsible for co-ordinating and managing the activities of the panel and take project lead responsibility for delivery of the agreed strategies.

Working within the commercial team to manage life cycle planning and re-appraisals across a portfolio of 100+ PFI investments in the defence, health, commercial, education and student accommodation sectors the UK. Work includes; pricing the life cycle impact of variation, pricing of life cycle liability across PFI assets, co-ordinations of asset survey teams, modelling of life cycle requirements to meet credit agreement requirements, preparation of financial model inputs. preparation of annual and five yearly life cycle plans

Principal point of contact for the business on all matters relating to the companies affairs with regards to energy management, including supply, strategy, energy efficiency and demand reduction, as well aslegislative compliance and contract compliance/performance.Developing, implementing and maintaining an effective energy management strategy for the business. Ensuring that the company complied with all legislative requirements and strived for best practice at all times.Producing the associated policies and procedures to enable efficient management of energy/utilities and therefore manage the risks posed to the business through its operations relating to energy management.Supporting the Johnson Service Group (parent company) with its compliance programme, particularly with regards to the “CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme”.

Responsible for producing, communicating and monitoring adherence to the utilities management business process.Developing & maintaining a utilities monitoring and targeting package, ensure that all datasets were up to date, and producing various reports based on this data as and when required.Producing utilities consumption targets and associated budgets for all Jarvis's PFI sites annually.Reporting actual costs and consumption performance against the forecast targets and budgets respectively for all contracts/sites on a monthly basis.Reporting actual costs and consumption performance against the forecast targets and budgets respectively for all sites on a monthly basis.Regularly meeting with various client representatives to discuss monitoring and performance and toexplore opportunities to maximize energy reduction and associated savings.Procuring energy where required on the most advantageous commercial terms.The preparation and submission of the annual utilities claim credit calculations that were required by each PFI contract on each of Jarvis's PFI sites.Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
