• Styling outfits for both product and model shots that are to be uploaded to Instagram (@copperfield_shop) and official Copperfield website, as well as other social platfroms. Working closely with in-house photographer to create a social media plan that includes locations, brands and outfit description layouts to be shot for the upcoming month.• Attending buying appointments and working closely with the head buyers to help build relationships with suppliers. Picking product ranges that would generate sales from our consumers whilst staying true to the shops identity and staying within the allocated budget as well as taking pictures of all chosen products.Recent appointments include: Stone Island, CP Company, Albam, Novesta, Nudie Jeans, Lee 101, Rains and Gramicci.• Creating weekly finance sheets on Excel, inputting all values taken through PDQ and cash, ensuring the balance is correct at the end of the day. • Creating monthly finance target sheets on Excel, using last year's figures to create our daily targets. Inputted daily figures generate a +/- percentage in relation to the target figure creating an overall weekly figure and percentage which is then used to generate the months total.• Creating both weekly & monthly sell through reports using TRIMS to help identify which products are selling strongly against those that aren't. Liaising with the Head Buyers to establish a plan/campaign to address why certain products/brands are selling better than others, taking into account merchandising, price points, designs & materials etc.• Working closely with the budget and sell through reports to generate mid-season buy sheets to be sent off to suppliers, and work closely with Head Buyers to top-up orders mid-season.• Booking in and creating purchase orders for all new season products that have been delivered to store using TRIMS and ensuring all products are stocked correctly both on the shop floor and within the stockroom.

Responsibilities Include:• Addressing all consumers when entering store, helping where feasible in terms of sizes and fits of brands as well as giving a brief overview on the brands (e.g. Carhartt, Stone Island, YMC, Engineered Garments etc.) background/story, guaranteeing the customer gets an excelled and reliable service.• Weekly stock takes to ensure all stock levels are correct for both till systems and website.• Daily use of the till system to sell products as well as check stock for customers upon request.• Weekly merchandising tasks; changing in store displays/rails including mannequins to show consumers new product as well as using my CAD skills to create designs for shop window vinyls.• Dealing with online orders, ensuring all products are picked and packed ready for collection/delivery, updating all customers on the status of their orders.• Labelling all tubs and rails within the stockroom to ensure all staff know where each brand is kept as well as what departments are kept within each tub/rail.• Daily housekeeping of the store, ensuring the store and all displays/products are kept as clean and neat as possible - this coinciding with the stockroom, ensuring all products in tubs and on rails are correctly managed and kept as neat as possible. Furthermore, ensuring all products are re-stocked when sold. • Researching and understanding both current brands and new incoming brands to have detailed background knowledge to share to customers to help generate sales. Researching on competitors to help identify the gap in the market for Copperfield and pick points where we can stand out over others.

During June and July 2013, I was able to work as an Assistant Stylist on three JD front cover shoots for RWD magazine. My jobs included working closely with the stylist, steaming all outfits and correctly aligning them in order of the shoot. Ensuring all items of clothing fit the models correctly and working closely with the models on set to style and make slight adjustments where necessary to guarantee a desired final shot.
