About Tom Duscher

I am a designer and professor for interactive media at the Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design in Kiel. In 2015 we founded "The Science Communication Lab" to focus on providing innovative visual communication for the sciences and for complex, explanation-intensive projects and products.My academic research topics are interactive information design and visual science communication, in which I explore new formats and visualization strategies. Since 1996 I have developed interactive media, worked as Art- and Creative Director in various renowned media agencies and received several national and international awards. All this was of course the achievement of teamwork and I really appreciate working with teams.
