As a superintendent at T3 Construction, my main role is constructing custom residential homes in collaboration with subcontractors and fellow employees. Onsite construction management and coordination as well as project development. In addition, I regularly consider building science reviews of assemblies and systems.

Hammer and Hand focuses on serving our clients through the combination of highly skilled carpenters, building science understanding and application, and project management. Projects range from simple kitchen and bath renovations to high-end passive houses.As a building analyst, envelope professional, and carpenter, I have been on the front lines of Hammer and Hand’s work. I have personally managed over 100 energy retrofits that have revolutionized the livability of clients’ homes. Management of these projects included pre-project program development and estimating, sales, scheduling, and project delivery.Most recently I have been working as a carpenter in the field and the projects I have been a part of have spanned the gap from kitchen and bath remodels to high performance additional dwelling units to certified passive houses. As a carpenter, attention to and installation of every detail is a daily responsibility. Ensuring the durability and longevity of the structure is key in building sustainable structures that will stand the test of time. I mainly focus on day trips in which we take a group of 15 - 25 youth up to the mountain and teach them how to snowboard. I also help with the coaches' training and the techniques of instruction.We focus on movement based coaching in which we teach the kids to move specific body parts to get the desired action and performance from the snowboard.Our intent is the get these youth to be able to make basic turns so they can begin to build their confidence and skills and thus discover more of the mountain.
