Since the first time I saw a computer in my school's computer lab, I've been fascinated with them. I jumped at any chance I had to work with them. I would find games to play, or tasks to be accomplished with them. I broke my fair of computers in the early years, from error messages to hardware failure, I experienced all of it first hand. With few others around to fix them, I had to learn to do it myself. I took college courses while still in high school, not only to learn how to fix computers, but also to learn what I could accomplish with them. For everything that I learned while growing up, I learned a tremendous amount more working for Dell Technical Support. They gave us weeks of training to start, and every few months we would get additional classes to learn the latest and greatest of what was being released into the computer world. The customers I worked with over the phone had some unique computer setups, so in addition to what the computer books and courses taught me, I learned how to improvise solutions as well when needed. Working with computers isn't just a job or a hobby, it's my passion. I enjoy finding creative ways to get a computer to accomplish a task if there is no obvious solution. I like troubleshooting computers to find out what isn't working and resolving it, it's like finding a piece of a puzzle to make a complete picture. It gives a tremendous feeling of accomplishment when the source of the problem is found. There is no better feeling that resolving an issue for someone that is distraught over the dysfunction of their computer.
