Formed in late 2014, Alphabet Brewing Company is a keg focussed craft beer manufacturer.From the outset, my primary role was the running and operation of a 15 hectolitre brew house with 160 hectolitre production capacity.Drawing on similar roles held previously, I successfully implemented both purchasing and sales contracts, recruited new staff to the brewery to aid expansion and resourced new products and equipment. I am also oversee the use of the 50 litre test brewery kit. I have successfully instigated the“dry-hopping” of several core range beers, as well as specials, to enhance aroma and ultimately profile of the product and increasing saleability.Other roles I am responsible for all of the brewery's malt, hops and chemical needs as well as sourcing new products and negotiating new prices. It my duty to ensure there is adequate an adequate stock of live yeast and that all brewery records, such as malt logs, grist sheets and fermentation records are maintained to a clear, high standard.
