I was in the RAF for 9 years, spent my time on various platforms as a first and second line electronics and avionics technician. My military career history out of training consists of 18 months first line on Hercules C130K, 3 and a half years second line electronics and avionics technician on Eurofighter Typhoon, and one and a half years first line electronics and avionics technician on King Air B350CER.I have an NVQ level 3 in aeronautical engineering amongst other military and civilian qualifications.I have experience on radar, navigation, communication, cryptographic, defensive aids and navigational systems, and also fibre optics maintenance, repair and installation, amongst other things. I also have a bank of learned and highly developed skills that are transferable to many sectors, engineering or non engineering.I have been on rolling stock for 3 years ranging from electrical fitter on class 323's, being a test and commissioning technician on class 230's and currently a functional test engineer on the aventra project, and an EMC tester on various platforms.Any questions you might have of my experience or qualifications please feel free to send me a message and I will be happy to get back to you as soon as possible.

During this time I was also part of 3 major modification teams, embodying this phase 1 enhacement mod, phase 1 enhancement (B) mod for the capability from going from an air to air combat aircraft to an air to ground and reconnaissance platform and FTI 2 mod for the testing and evaluation squadron to record results of tests which included numerous runs of cable,databus, ethernet and twisted pairs, including terminations, to be removed and inserted and the testing of system reporting capabilites and software upgrades. -
