RAF Waddington

Servicing and weekly inspections on the Shadow aircraft, King Air B350CER, where I have gained a civilian type rating on this aircraft type and have done numerous system courses including WESCAM MX15 camera system. Also in this time I have acquired approval from a civilian company that owns the maintenance contract on the aircraft to allow me to carry out.

RAF Coningsby

At RAF Coningsby I worked second line Typhoon doing base maintenance including primary, primary* minor, minor* and major servicings on the Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft including component strip, modifications, heavy rectification, rebuild and functional testing of all systems. During this time I was also part of 3 major modification teams, embodying this.

RAF Cosford

At RAF Cosford is where I did my avionics trade training including electronic principles, motor and generator theory, off aircraft electronic fault finding, on aircraft fault finding, aerodynamics and system theory which involved navigational systems, communication systems, radar systems including attack radar and doppler radars, radalt and terrain.

RAF Lyneham

Before flight, after flight and turnaround servicing on Hercules C130K as well as liquid oxygen charges, breathing oxygen charges, nitrogen accumulator charges, and pressure refuels and defuels. Refilling of engine oils, hydraulic fluid and also general husbandry of the aircraft.

Activities and Societies: I played Rugby, Cricket and Football for my school teams. I gained 10 GCSE's at C grade and above in English.
