This was a multi faceted role. My primary task was to order was maintain stock levels across over 100 brands keeping an eye on both the short term and long term. As this data is used to make real world decisions it was paramount to spot all errors and rectify them.I was seconded to a flagship project team within the Highways Agency. My primary role was to check the validity of new and existing data within the database and resolve any issues. The database was the main repository for data on the trunk road network. I also produced one of the Highways Agency's 13 Key Performance Indicators. This monthly task required the collation and analysis of huge amounts of data including road construction and 3 types of condition surveys each with numerous parameters.Research projects often involved experiments on or near the highway requiring knowledge and application of sound health and safety practice both for myself and my colleagues. Access to the highway is always time constrained and costly meaning we would have to work effectively as a team for tasks to be completed quickly and correctly.I have Visual Basic programming knowledge. My last project was fixing bugs and producing enhancements in complex whole life cost models.
