• Oversaw the Oncology Care Model, a value-based Medicare pilot program for patients receiving cancer treatment; OCM tracks certain quality measures, requires minimum care standards, and incentivizes lower costs• Compiled and monitored our patient roster; submitted demographic and cancer registry data for 1,200+ patients• Coordinated billing efforts to collect monthly payments from Medicare, totaling $1.6 Million in Year 1; uncovered internal coding errors resulting in $120k more revenue • Helped create and improve numerous quality measure reports; provided data analysis and identified areas for potential improvement; gave frequent updates to Director of Strategic Initiatives and other department leadership • With social work, expanded distress screenings to better identify high-risk patients; doubled compliance in 6 months • Established a Patient Navigation trial program to help patients overcome logistical and social barriers to care• Interviewed and helped manage two patient navigators and a summer intern
