Tom is the founder and CEO of Soltiles. He developed a company that manufactures integrated solar roofing for the residential market. Tom completed Market Development and encapsulation, the original research on polymer recycling, compounding, development of low profile electrical interconnect systems. Prior to Soltiles he was founder of Redwood Renewables. He developed a company that manufactures integrated solar roofing for the residential market. Tom completed Market Development and encapsulation, and original research on polymer recycling, compounding, development of low profile electrical interconnect systems and fire retarding recycled rubber including development of integrated solar tiles. His R&D resulted in six patents. He was a former principal in Madera Group specializing in strategic corporate development, marketing research and fund raising. Prior, Mr. Faust was CEO and principal in Tractug, a west coast based transportation services company, where he raised all capital and directed all marketing functions for the company. He has manufacturing experience in construction of vessels. Mr. Faust has previously worked for GATX and Dillingham Corporation as Director of planning and operations analysis. Mr. Faust holds an MBA degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business in marketing and finance and a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, and various licenses, including Master from the USCG and Lt. from the U.S. Navy.
