- Founding partner of and investor in Yield Energy Inc. Yield is a specialty anaerobic digestion service and equipment supplier under a North American license agreement with the German biogas engineering firm Finsterwalder Environmental (www.fitec.com).- Responsible for the technical evaluation of competitive AD technologies in the NA and European markets. - Responsible for developing a sales pipeline into the municipal, commercial and agricultural sectors. - Landed over $3M in equipment sales and service revenues. - Managed approximately $8M in project capital deployment as an equipment supplier and process integrator. - Created and delivered a scientific services program called “Dr. Digester” for AD facility owners and operators.- Conduct biogas technology courses for utilities and NGO’s across North America.- Provide innovative and investigative technologies and services for new markets and feedstock sources for anaerobic digestion.- Public speaker across Canada and the US at recognized renewable energy, waste management and composting conferences and trade shows.

- Primary responsibility was to gain critical market penetration for worm castings (vermiculture) by identifying value added characteristics and aligning them with specific distributors and strategic partners by market segments- Involved in detailed business planning- New product development in high value agriculture- Feedstock sourcing and quality control- Lead on R&D into bio-pesticide opportunities - Implemented technical and applied research to identify various biotechnology opportunities that may have reciprocal value to industry partners such as composting

- Developed and managed research initiatives aimed at increasing sector competitiveness in the areas of renewable energy production and sustainability - Coordinated and lead initiatives for the BOD in the areas of Research and Innovation, Pesticide Registrations, Energy and Environment- Managed R&D funding through the Canada-Ontario Research Development Program (CORD) and the Agricultural Adaptation Council (AAC)- Worked with provincial (Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs) and federal agencies (Pest Management Centre, Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada) on Bio-Pesticide Portfolios- Grant writing and funding applications at the provincial and federal levels- Extensive liaison with colleagues in multiple agricultural sector NGO’s as well as provincial and federal government counterparts
