I have built a career and reputation by diligently helping others in the fields of law and government relations. Known as someone who facilitates productive outcomes, I’m proud to be recognized for my ability to bring parties together for common goals while also being known for zealous courtroom advocacy. I represent clients with a keen ability to get to the bottom of issues and solve complicated problems. My main goal is to achieve the objectives of my clients through the most effective means possible. Over the course of my career, I have served in several roles both inside and outside of the courthouse. I am a former Deputy State’s Attorney for Anne Arundel County and have run my own law firm for over two decades. I’ve handled hundreds of criminal and civil trials throughout Maryland. I have also served, after being appointed by the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court, as a Children's Privilege Attorney, Child's Best Interest Attorney, as well as a Special Administrator by the Orphan's Court for Anne Arundel County. I am honored to have been appointed by both Democratic and Republican Governors. I was appointed as the Chair of the Anne Arundel County Judicial Nominations Commission under Governor Martin O’Malley and was appointed by Governor Robert Ehrlich to the State of Maryland Board of Elections where I served as Vice-Chair. I also served on Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman’s transition team and then on the County’s Decennial Charter Review Commission from 2021-2022. In 2007 I served on Attorney General Douglas Gansler's transition team as well. I am also proud to be involved in multiple philanthropic committees and organizations including the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation, YWCA of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, and a supporter of Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center Foundation.
