I am an Associate Professor in the School of Arts and Creative Industries at Edinburgh Napier University. I work in the design subject area and run the postgraduate provision.Please reach out if you're interested in studying any of the following subjects: MA Heritage & Exhibition DesignMA Design for Interactive ExperienceMA Service Design|MSc Design ResearchMy research interests centre around Digital Storytelling and Physical Computing and the conjunction of these two subjects. I make working interactive products that help expose our relationship with technology. I am particularly interested in the space between the real and the virtual.I work closely with an international team developing research in the area of blended experience, continuing the work of Professor David Benyon. This is a design framework for working with digital devices that are closely aligned with physical experience.
