My roles have been varied allowing me to gain a variety of transferable skills. The time working as part of the Flash Quotes team, allowed me to develop my communications skills as I was interviewing athletes from varied backgrounds and countries as well as having to think quickly about a further question in order to gain more infomation.As a photo Liason I became a point of contact for photographers and I had to make sure they were given the best oppotunity to capture the photograph they so desired from the event, this allowed me to develop and grow my Leadership skills.Lastly, one skill that I find developed the most was managing my time in order to make sure their was enough time for me to interview the athletes, as well as typing up the quotes so they could be published on the website in a timely manner.

Since starting this job I have experienced different working environments; such as working weddings, funerals, parties, regular golf days and charity events. My roles varies from Stock taking, Cellar Cleaning, Room Services, Cashups, Stock Ordering, regualr maintanance of the bar. As well as waitering and looking after functions.Being a barmen has allowed me to openly get to know the regulars such as the Golf members which has been a key part in the development of my communication. Furthermore, I have previously been given the responsibility to train new staff in order to make sure they meet the standards of our management teams.
