During his high school years, Tom began investing as he searched for a way to pay for college. Intrigued by the stock market, he developed his passion for studying capital markets and financial instruments. His fascination of the finance industry led him to pursue financial planning and economics in his college education and beyond. Tom and his partners were determined to create Procyon Partners due to their desire to provide a place that is free from the constraints of large firms and that focuses on the needs of both corporate and personal clients. Tom constantly strives to help his clients achieve their goals and financial dreams by providing his expertise and commitment.Tom has more than 20 years of experience in the retirement industry, dedicating his time to serving the needs of institutional clients by focusing on plan design, investment management, and participant education for both qualified and non-qualified retirement plans. Prior to co-founding Procyon Partners, Tom worked at the FDG Group at UBS and was a member of the company’s Institutional Consulting and Retirement Plan Consultant Groups. Before FDG, he worked in the Retirement Financial Services division at HSBC Bank USA, where he was recognized for his innovative plan design strategies and was invited to serve for multiple cycles as a member of the company’s prestigious President’s Council. Tom has earned designations as a Certified Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®). He is a graduate from SUNY Stony Brook with a B.A. degree in Economics.
