Provided leadership and assistance in developing and implementing the District’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework for at risk student groups, particularly foster youth and those disproportionately impacted by office discipline referrals and suspensions. Provided direct targeted support as needed for identified at risk Tier 2 and Tier 3 students by working with parents/guardians, teachers, school principal and designee, and community in development, coordination, and implementation of strategies to address social/emotional-environmental barriers interfering with student academic success. Responsible for providing supportive services to nine different schools.

Facilitate teen support groups to enhance pro-social skills. Following trainings have been completed and are being implemented, Parent Project, ART (anger replacement training certified), brief-substance abuse certified, ASSIST first-aid suicide intervention certification in a school setting. Assisted in implementation of PBIS. (Positive Behavior Intervention Support)
