CeoGrowth Intelligence (Ai) Jun 2013 - Dec 2022Growth Intelligence (growthintelligence.com) helps marketers and sales leaders drive faster growth with AI. Clients include American Express, Western Union, FedEx, Vitality, iZettle etc. Our AIs solve the key challenges in B2B trade: - Who will buy? - How valuable will they be over a lifetime?- Should I attempt to contact them today?- What should I say?Our tech gathers and interprets messy but real-time behaviour data on all companies every day. On top of that, at the core of our system is a set of live Ai-learnt 'signals' or 'facts' on every firm on the economy. A recommendation engine sits on top of those and learns from our client's activities what patterns of behaviour predict a company will react in a certain way.Trade has built our civilisation and everything around us. It's the human superpower. But finding new trade relationships is stupidly inefficient. We're changing that. -
CeoStartup Intelligence Jan 2011 - Jun 2013London, London, GbI started a magazine about early-stage businesses. I employed journalists and stringers in the UK and abroad to write reports on 'The top 50 internet-of-things companies in Turkey' or 'Machine to machine messaging startups in Mexico'. IBM was our biggest client but we also produced reports for Google and the UK Foreign Office. Fun, but not scalable.I eventually realised what we were doing was actually being used by the marketing & sales departments of our clients. The value was in the set of companies we whittled down for our clients, not the wonderful writing and pretty pictures of the tech and the founders. I met Prash Majmudar tracking submarines at BAE Systems using passive sonar. His Ai systems would filter the noise of the waves and pick up a Chinese submarine in the south Atlantic. Back then, IBM would give us 25 niche tech startups and say 'find me 50 more, but in Russia' I'd use manual research and the brains of our journalists to do the selection. I said to Prash: if we could use machines to train on the our client's examples & search for new ideal sales targets using the 'noise' they were making on the internet... GrowthIntel was born. -
