Whenever people asked me what the best decision in my life was, I always answer the same. It was the decision to study in the United States. Growing up in a small town in Germany, my life was easy as a child. That changed when I started making decisions on what I want to do with my free time (I focused on playing golf). Leaving my soccer team behind and focusing on another sport, was not a decision everyone around me could (or wanted) to understand. However, golf is the reason why I am studying in the United States now. At the end, I can say that I am proud of every single decision I made on the way to where I am now. And that will surely not be the end of my journey. I think in sports and business, you can always get better. You can always run faster, jump higher or make a process more efficient than it already is. During the last couple of years I got the chance to work for different companies (including PUMA) and learned different structures of enterprises. It was inspiring to see what all PUMA has done since they started in 1984. But it was not less interesting, to see how fast a small real estate company can grow in a couple of years. I am sure that my experiences, personal and job related, as well as my skills will help me to be successful in the future. No matter if I will reach my dream and become a professional golfer, or if I find my way into the business world.
