Current• Initially hired in Director capacity and promoted to VP-level role, overseeing a complex mix of FP&A, Patent Portfolio and Contract Management, Accounting, HR, and Shareholder Relations activities• Prepare detailed Board presentations and meeting minutes to support ongoing corporate governance requirements for both the parent company and its subsidiaries (Pendrell, HMT, CGH, Holicity, Colicity)• Played instrumental role in the company's pivot from its prior focus in satellite communications space to its current IP-driven model; created a robust infrastructure to support the new strategy while planning for the substantial costs associated with the legacy business until the company could divest its satellite assets• Aided in the completion of numerous patent divestitures and served as finance representative on a newly formed Patent Review Committee tasked with pruning patents not aligned with future strategy• As part of the above role, developed a novel framework (based on a variety of weighted attributes) to objectively grade patent potential• Supported three reverse stock splits enabling a reduction in shareholders of record, allowing the company to de-register, delist, and eliminate costly reporting requirements of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934• Provided financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence support associated with ~15 early-stage equity and/or credit investments, as well as the launch of two special purpose acquisition companies (“SPACs”)
