Kairos USA was established to support the work of the Kairos movement begun in South Africa in 1985 and in Palestine in 2009. Advocate for Middle East peace with justice by telling stories of Israeli and Palestinian activists

Managed the Geneva office and represented WVI at the UN, to diplomatic missions and the International Council of Voluntary Agencies (served as chair 2005-08).

I managed 30 staff and $5-8 million a year in emergency relief to occupied Palestinians with early childhood, maternal health, water, sanitation, agriculture and educational grants in partnership with private donors, churches and government aid agencies.

Opened WVUS office in Washington DC and hired first two employees to manage WV's relations with the US government and foreign embassies. Primary responsibilities were as assistant to WV president in tracking pertinent foreign policy legislation, tracking USG funding for relief and development, and building partnerships with other humanitarian agencies.

First employed as legislative assistant on human rights and African issues (1976-78) and from 1978-85 as director I managed legislative flow, bill writing and speech preparation for the Senator. Most notable accomplishments were sanctions legislation against Rhodesia, Uganda, and South Africa, and building of relationships with other Senate office staffs.
