I view insurance/ risk management as that necessary element of a successful company’s financial portfolio that no one likes to talk about but realizes how strategically important it is to the welfare of their company.My job as the Commercial Sales Specialist at Seibert Insurance Agency is to have that conversation with the customer about what is critically important to them and their company. To find out is there anything that keeps them up at night that we need to know in order to provide a comprehensive risk management solution for their business.I have had the privilege to have this discussion with all types of companies from sole proprietors to multinational corporations and together we developed a solution that satisfied all parties.Initially the process can be challenging as you want to make sure every aspect of the operations is addressed but after that it’s a matter of follow up and adjusting as things change.The insurance industry is also evolving and responding to new challenges and it’s my responsibility to tell our customers how these changes will effect their business. Two way communication is the key to a successful insurance/risk management program.
