About Tom Gill
I’ve graduated from the University of Plymouth in Accounting and Finance and am now working as a Business Analyst at Deutsche Bank.During October 2019-March 2020 I decided to go travelling and visited Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Singapore which was an incredible experience for me.I have extensive knowledge on Data Analysis and SQL. I have taken courses in all of these fields and thoroughly enjoyed learning each one. I have also used a number of Data Analytics softwares such as: PowerBi, Tableau and Salesforce.I have learnt from books and videos how to invest my own money in equities using both fundamental and technical analysis. My investing technique for long term investing is to look for good profitable companies that are potentially trading below their intrinsic value which I calculate using the discounted cash flow method, have a P/E ratio below 20 and a PEG ratio ideally no higher than 1.3 with little debt.In terms of technical analysis, I like to use simple moving averages to analyse trends and potential reversals, MACD and the RSI indicators. I also like looking out for support and resistance consolidation patterns for potential swing trades.
