Colorado Dragon Boat Festival (CDBF) started in 2001, at which time I was captain of a race team. In 2002, I helped stage the races. I ran race program from 2003 - 2007, increasing the number of teams from 48 adult teams in a single division, to eight teams in a youth division, two adult teams in a competitive division, and 43 adult teams in a novice.
