Professional Services, with 6 employees and 5 direct reports. I manage a team of 3 associate consultants/the internship program, serve as a sales support/SME for security assessments, and perform information security assessments. I also assisted with developing/implementing 2 new advisory product lines that have been successful revenue multipliers.ACHIEVED IN THIS ROLECONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT● The Dir. of Professional Services recruited me to assist customers in implementing information security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, ISO 27k, and CIS. Over the next 3 months, I functioned as an SME and assisted customers to meet regulatory requirements and information security best practices. These efforts effectively implemented the model, fostered an environment of continuous improvement, and enabled customers to remain in good standing for essential client contracts.REVENUE CAPTURE STRATEGY / NEW MARKET PENETRATION● The Founder/President tasked me to design/implement a new service offering to penetrate vCISO. Within 3 months, I identified requirements, formed a project plan with deliverables, and constructed the final reporting format/sales presentation materials. CORPORATE PROFILE: A $100M fitness company with 15,000 employees. RESPONSIBILITY PROFILE: As CISO, I reported to the CTO with a $500M OPEX, five employees, and one direct report. I was responsible for all duties as head of information security and data privacy.ACHIEVED IN THIS ROLEPROGRAM MANAGEMENT● In the wake of data privacy regulations, the CTO recruited me to assure stakeholders that regulatory privacy provisions were in place. Within six months, I navigated cross-functional coordination, defined the regulatory landscape, and created an internal tool to perform remote compliance assessments and identify risk tiers for 500+ clinics across the country. This eliminated travel costs and resources needed for onsite assessments, became SOP and Best Practice, and was implemented companywide. My responsibilities were expanded to include management of clinic compliance as a result.REGULATORY STRATEGY● The CTO called upon me to design and integrate a comprehensive data security program to meet all relevant regulatory requirements. Over 90 days, I identified all critical regulatory requirements and specified the proper data privacy provisions for implementation. These efforts reduced risk across all lines of business by satisfying all state, federal, and international obligations, which included associated regulatory cost factors for global operations.

ACHIEVEMENTS CONTINUEDRISK MITIGATION● The CTO charged me to identify and integrate a first-time, best-in-class technology risk management framework to raise customer confidence and reduce regulatory risk. I selected the HITRUST security framework post-investigation and implemented the system within three months. Then, I traversed differing remediation activity priorities to maximize investment and impact. The framework secured marquee customer confidence surrounding data security contractual provisions and justified the budgetary resources necessary to perform the remediation activities.POLICY DEVELOPMENT● The CTO commissioned me to collaboratively draft extensive documentation for information security policies and procedures. I planned a strategy within 90 days, then defined and documented a comprehensive information security policy that corrected all inaccuracies. We further expanded upon it to ensure continuous improvement. This standardization became both SOP and Best Practice, and it elevated the organization’s maturity concerning information security.MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS● In the wake of an acquisition, the CTO tasked me to provide data security evaluations of the target company. Within just seven days, I conducted a deep-dive assessment of the company’s data privacy in support of the merger. I then presented findings to leadership. The merger was successful, and it increased EXOS’ overall valuation by $10M in only six months.

I performed the role of Certified Security Assessor to represent regulatory requirements for the payment card industry (PCI), then provided advisory to customers to assist with regulatory compliance. These efforts allowed customers to be fully compliant with their PCI data security audits.
