Tom Goldenberg grew up in West Haven, CT and was raised by local public school teachers. Tom moved to New Haven as a young adult and has been a part of the New Haven community for most of his life.For nine years (2003-2012), Tom taught and volunteered in South India, helping rebuild villages devastated by the 2004 Asian Tsunami. The experience imprinted on Tom the value of “seva,” or selfless service, something that informs his approach to leadership.Tom has experienced first-hand what it's like to seek job opportunities as a non-traditional hire. He attended Dev Bootcamp in 2012 and got his start as a Software Engineer at the venture-backed startup Agolo.
