I help higher education leaders connect their students, faculty, staff, programs and services through data and technologies that provide a single source of reference for critical data on engagement and student success, as well as using best-in-the-world CRM technologies to compete for the students they seek to enroll.

I lead a group of dedicated, seasoned professionals who provide consulting services for higher education in the U.S., Canada and abroad. We assist these institutions to address their enrollment, marketing, technology, student success and student finance issues through practical, results-oriented solutions.I also serve as the Editor-in-Chief of SEM Quarterly, an AACRAO journal published through Wiley. My role also includes leadership on SEM initiatives for AACRAO and our membership, including our annual SEM Conference, the world's largest gathering of SEM professionals.

Technology Solutions in Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) addresses the interface between student information systems and business practices. It allows the implementation of new technologies and the maximization of existing technologies to occur when the institution's business practices are made highly efficient and effective, based upon the opportunities and limitations of available technologies, and personnel skill sets are matched and deployed appropriately to these practices and technologies. As new technologies constantly emerge, institutions must evaluate whether their options for technologies are relevant and whether their business practices inhibit or facilitate the significant investments made in these solutions.

My work with AACRAO Consulting continues, assisting colleges and universities in and outside the US to develop Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) plans and best practices. My colleagues in the consulting group and I bring a wealth of experience as SEM practitioners in a variety of institutional settings to our client institutions.More specifically, I work with institutions that are seeking to develop the first or next SEM Plan, streamline processes and leverage technologies to enhance student services, review and improve the delivery of financial aid, develop smart and effective communications to students and their influencers in the college selection process, review and improve recruitment teams and their work, develop and improve retention plans and much more. One of the great benefits of being at AACRAO Consulting is the ability to utilize some of our outstanding AACRAO members in some of the consultations, bringing their specific expertise to our client institutions.

I assist colleges and universities with issues relating to admission, recruitment, financial aid, service delivery, retention and records/registration.Interim leadership services are also provided to institutions needing a short-term enrollment manager. These can include search services, if needed, to help fill the position for the college or university.All services are provided through AACRAO Consulting, a branch of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers.
