I was responsible for the dealership’s advertising designs, social media marketing, direct mail design and distribution, website content and maintenance using CMS (I created or was supplied content and upload specific dealership offers and also national Mercedes-Benz campaigns). I also designed email marketing campaigns specific to current offers and communications. I designed presentations for both external and internal use. All of the dealerships advertising, such as lamppost adverts (Newport Road Cardiff), sandwich bags for local cafes, vehicle graphics, sponsorship advertising for Cardiff Blues, Cardiff City FC and the Ospreys. I had to follow the Mercedes-Benz brand guidelines on any external advertising that includes the star or Mercedes-Benz word marks/claims. I designed and had printed a brand book for Euro Commercials that I was very proud of and really shows my graphic design skill level. As well as external advertising, every month I designed an internal newsletter that included departmental round ups, a section we call ‘In the Driver’s Seat’ (we selected random employees and interviewed them about their life outside of work) it was a nice way of getting to know employees and makes for interesting reading! -
