Behavioral psychology, data analytics, science and technology are my sandbox.- As cafés around the world began experimenting with Italian-inspired espresso drinks, I collaborated with world-class scientists at the Nestlé Research Center to develop foaming milky coffee specialties and create a vibrant, successful global product range that added the joy of new discoveries to the morning coffee routine.- I helped to develop demand-based analyses and segmentations of PepsiCo’s broadly different snacking markets in the US, UK, Mexico, China, India, France and Spain, which served as a central, all-inclusive data source for each country’s marketing and R&D teams, helping them rapidly develop brand and products in lockstep.- I ran a series of innovation front-end sprints for Safeway to uncover non-obvious consumer needs and spot emerging categories. We developed a tight chain of category and consumer research, concept development, qualitative evaluation and final briefs for their in-house brands, tackling a new category every six weeks.- At the Los Angeles LGBT Center, I met with at-risk youth to identify the barriers behind their low adoption rate of PrEP, the lifesaving HIV prevention drugs. Hearing their stories and understanding their trauma brought their challenges into sharp focus, guiding my creative direction so the Center could reduce stigma-fueled fears and save more lives.
