Tom began his career at OGP as an Application Engineer and has held the positions of Corporate Accounts Manager, Corporate Product Manager, Director of Quality and North American Sales Manager.As Chief Technology Officer for QVI, Tom Groff defines and maintains the corporation’s product portfolio for multiple divisions, product families, and sensor technologies. He is responsible for Product Development and Engineering Management for mechanical, electrical, optical and software systems as well as custom engineered solutions. QVI is an industry leader in Metrology equipment that includes Video Measuring Equipment, Multi-Sensor Systems, Coordinate Measuring Machines, 3D Laser Scanners, Digital Measuring Machines and Comparators.Mr. Groff's education includes a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and an MBA with an emphasis in technology management from the University of Phoenix. He also holds a Black Belt certification in Lean/Six Sigma. Groff was Co-Owner/Metrology Products Manager for Rosco Precision Machinery LLC in Auburn, Washington.QVI is an innovator in non-contact and multisensor dimensional measurement systems, optical comparators, and laser surface scanners for manufacturing quality control.
