1. Responsible for planning, developing, and execution of the club’s sports leagues/camps/clinics and tournaments in accordance with the Upward Stars Program Model.2. Running all operations of the Club including:a. Facility rental for office space and sports program participationb. Create and maintain Club budgetsc. Recruit, train and hire sport coaches (head and assistant)d. Promote programming to communitye. Schedule all practices, games and tournaments for Club Teamsf. Produce revenue through program fees, fundraising and donationsg. Work in accordance with Upward Stars Affiliate/Certified Leader Requirements to run programming and order uniforms, program gear and program resources3. Oversee all aspects of team and program management including but not limited to:a. Developing criteria for teams, coaches, leagues, tournaments, camps and special activities associated and in accordance with Upward Stars Programmingb. Ensuring profitability and mission success in each programc. Initiating the plan for generating sales through player participationd. Fundraise within the community to ensure financial successe. Recruit and hire a team of head and assistant coaches for all programsf. Training athletes and coaches so that they may achieve excellence in sports and greater growth and maturity in their personal Christian faith journeysg. Work with third party facility providers to produce places to practice and play4. Develop, maintain, and weekly reporting of sales and budgets for Board reviews5. Hire, train, manage, and motivate administration and sport coordinators on staff.6. Promote the mission of Upward Sports.
