Currently a powertrain calibration engineering working on automatic transmission and hybrid powertrains at Toyota R&D in Ann Arbor. Graduated from Grove City College (ABET accredited) with a degree in electrical engineering. During my time at Toyota I work in developing powertrain vehicle controls for software, calibration of software for balance of driveability, NV, and fuel economy. I have professional experience with powertrain simulation in Matlab/Simulink, controls development for Towing function, and creating calibration optimization tools to improve efficiency. My best strengths include on the job learning, communication, perseverance, and project management/ leadership.Professional ExperienceVehicle calibration (drive force, shift schedule, lock up, AI), software requirement specification creation, multiple patents for 1M control strategy, Matlab tool creation for simulation and calibration optimizationEducationGrove City College ABET accredited electrical engineering programBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, 5/2014Relevant Courses:Digital Electronics, Circuit Theory, Logic Design, Signals and Systems, Control Theory, Digital and Analog Communication, Computer Architecture, Electromagnetic Theory, Electrical MachinesTechnology Summary:Matlab/Simulink, C++, Microsoft Office
