Oversees the installation and configuration of new VTRAT software /hardware at all Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) VTRAT locations. Supports engineering development, engineering regression testing, LMCO internal testing, Software Problem Change Request (SPCR) sign-off and government testing for up to four SCO builds per year. Periodically coordinates VTRAT lesson updates and Tactics changes with AFSOC as required. Consults with VTRAT developer in regards to discrepancies, modifications/enhancements to existing and future software builds. Provide direct support to VTRAT developer for test and reviews. Attend and consults in the annual VTRAT Users Conferences between Air Force Joint Commands. Provide the additional coordination and testing required for a Tactics change to the VTRAT device.Conduct preventive maintenance, simulator evaluations, drawing and documentation checks as wells Inventory of associated equipment pertaining to a VTRAT device. Attended and conducted annual VTRAT instructor Initial and/or refresher training at all ATARS VTRAT sites for both Active Duty and Contract personnel. Conducts training, evaluations and certification of US Air Force assigned VTRAT Instructors.Provided direct contact training for associated VTRAT students. Trains VTRAT site POC’s to install new baseline configuration software distribution. Provided academic Instruction to MC-130E Loadmasters for both Mission Qualification and Refresher training courses. Current SME for the new Loadmaster Air Fueling Simulator to be used by AFSOC and ACC.
