CurrentEXTREME NETWORKS, Louisville, KY – Jan. 1998 to Present(Enterasys Networks Jan98' - 2012, purchased by Extreme Networks)Professional Services Engineer – Jan. 2012 to Present• Lead applications and network architecture design and deployment efforts of Extreme Network products and services.• Projects range from 250K to over 2 million.• Conduct in-depth pre-deployment analysis of the existing device configurations, develop configuration files for the replacement devices, and out-line technical support and down-time during the equipment replacement.• Develop and provide comprehensive contingency and disaster recovery plans.• Provide recommendations on capacity, optimization and future designs for redundancy and scalability needs to client.Products and Services:• Routing and Switching product (L3 and L2), Network Management Suite products, Wireless Networking solutions, Data Center solutions, Network Security to include Network Access Control (NAC) authentication solutions for both LAN and wireless authentication. • Authentication methods include both MAC-based and 802.1x based authentication.• Routing protocols and design layouts (OSPF, BGP, VRF’s, VRRP, etc.), LAN based switching (802.1Q, COS, QOS, VOIP, MTSP, LLDP, SNMP, etc.), Enterprise WIFI deployments (802.11a,b,n,ac) to include secure 802.1x and Web-Portal based deployment models and Secure network deployments to include Radius, LDAP, 802.1x and mac-based authentication for both LAN and Wireless deployments.
