My mission is to see more people get on a tennis court and be afforded some of the incredible experiences that I have been fortunate enough to enjoy as a result of playing the sport. Having experienced so much of life as a tennis player. I now help younger players and adults on their tennis journey and help them achieve whatever goal it is that they have.We’ve all experienced our own struggles on the tennis court and helping people to work through theirs is a real passion of mine.I love connecting with people all over the world on their journey.     A position which came about as a result of a new project at the tennis centre as a result of a collaboration with the LTA and the Tennis Foundation. The role gave me a lot of responsibility in particular when looking at our aims within the community. Job roles include: - Working with local schools: securing links with 15 new schools who have all benefitted from weekly coaching sessions creating a positive sporting impact on over 1,000 primary school children over the past two years. - Mentoring student coaches: Huge part of the project. Work with 30+ student coaches helping them through coaching qualifications, create engaging sessions and manage their time effectively. Open door policy. - Mini Tennis programme: Set up a mini tennis programme as an exit route for children from schools visited running on a Thursday and Saturday with over 100 children attending. - Social media & marketing: Maintenance of social channels as well as the creation and management of website content. - Links with halls on campus: Work with sport secs and hall chairs to give students in halls the opportunity to use the tennis facility. - Work with the AU club: Maintain strong links with the athletic union club following the experience gathered over my three years as a student.
