After 17 years as mainframe prograer for a major magazine publisher and mail order fulfillment house and another 17 years as a church administrator, if there's one thing I've learned it's that financial problems are rampant in all walks of life. In response, I've decided to pursue a third career in family financial planning and am working toward a Masters degree in the field. In addition to the VITA, free IRS tax preparation service I have participated in the past two years, in May of 2025 I will be looking to provide financial counseling and planning services to those needing assistance in Central Iowa.
