During the course of the minor I help with teaching and necessities for good education (e.g. planning, mailing interesting speakers and collecting feedback from students).

At the Structural and Functional Plasticity of the CNS group, I researched the effects of voluntary wheel running on the expression ofΔFosB in a wide variety of brain regions. This will unravel potentialneurobiological effects of exercise.

As part of the Tesla minor (UvA), I worked on a project to find opportunities for sustainable wood construction in the current construction market.

My literature review was titled: "Alzheimer's disease: creating new insights by combining knowledge about circadian and immunological changes during AD". I tried to analyze knowledge of the circadian rhythm in Alzheimer patients and the potential link with neuro-inflammation.

As a Spokesman I promoted the study Psychobiology, It was my job to inform future Bachelor students. I did this by giving presentations on high schools, Bachelor days and other events. The job required social skills, communication skills and presentation skills for huge groups, for which I received training.
