Managed Telford Store Location for one year until promoted to Store Manager of the Vernfield store in order to assist in opening and developing operations.•Responsible for overall operation of 150 employees collaborating with department managers to reduce labor overhead and increase efficiency.•Upon accepting position at the Vernfield location I immediately became involved in managing subcontractors during construction including store layout.•Responsible for staffing and recruiting for all roles and responsibilities within store.•Mentor, evaluate and promote employees and department managers using company guidelines and process. •Communicate with vendors and the corporate operations manager to establish and maintain profitable inventory levels.•Review merchandising throughout the store to successfully drive sales and profitability on a weekly basis.•Chair store meetings to communicate weekly goals and expectations.•Safety Committee Leader; organize routine meetings, perform accident investigations and effective problem solving. •Address any customer complaints to ensure a positive outcome and continued customer satisfaction.•Review Profit and Labor statements with each department manager to drive engagement, control costs and increase sales•Provide encouragement and support to department managers to assist them in achieving their goals.•Set store budget for the fiscal year, to include all goals, sales, profit and labor for each department and the entire store.
