Results focus. Comfort in new environments and with changes. I’m an algorithmic thinker and biased to communication and curiosity. Being right in business is necessary and it’s not enough: What drives me is getting the work to hit the bottom line (however it is measured) and helping people understand how to change it and how to reap the reward. The best parts of my career: • The personal and peer pressure to succeed. In terms of external motivators, there’s nothing like standing up in front of customers and peers on a regular basis and showing people the graph every day or every week. • Algorithmic thinking to determine what it will take to get to a goal. Ask me about dyke construction, financial variable trees, box conveyor accumulation via a Siemens PLC, business unit goals translation, or comparative negligence improvement. • Seeing someone perform two years later in a way they wouldn't have dreamed about two years prior, and knowing I helped. My professional goals: • Life long learning in all of my pursuits • Results that I can be personally proud of • An ownership stake in what I do (and to me that's a mindset more than just a business arrangement with money) • Balance. My work is an important part of how I measure my life. And its not the only part.
