Project Manager for Tower Road Widening 25 million dollar project for Commerce City

Participate in management of the day to day field operations. Work with Superintendents to make sure that the projects are tracking in the right direction. Mentor Foreman and Superintendents in Construction management tools and processes. Participate in Design Build brainstorming and design meetings and estimating scheduling and bid reviews.

Worked with Crews in the day to day operations with Safety and Creating a Culture of Safety through planning.

I enjoyed my oppurtunity to assist with managing and help grow the earthwork and concrete side of the company. I assisted with planning of operations, field issues, and scheduling and production.

Constructing a Park in Fort Collins

I had the oppurtunity at Mortenson to help develop their civil operations. It was a unique market that they have. Mortenson has been one of the best experiences in my career. It taught me to be flexable in my skills. It showed me that there are many methods of construction and many types of construction. But the basics of managing people, safety and quality are the same across the board. The challenges are different. but are dealt with in the same basic manners. Mortenson taught me that the craft are the true asset of construction. Take your eye off the craft and you will loose touch with what is happening on your project. A lesson that in todays market is far too often overlooked.
