Bain typically typically compensated based on a percent of actual profits created.From March 2020-August 2021, led a Bain team of 30 in supporting a major Covid-19 test manufacturer in scaling worldwide manufacturing and distribution of Covid tests, one of the fastest business scale-ups in history.

Integrated two family-owned CPG companies in first year of private equity ownership. During 2017 our new senior management team achieved 23% YoY growth in a 4% growth category; secured new distribution at major retailers across club/mass, convenience, grocery, digital. Consolidated two manufacturing plants into one expanded location; executed major cap ex program for automation and capacity expansion; reduced unit costs by 28%.

Led growth of this rapidly scaling branded consumer technology business, including three main business units, sales, marketing, digital, product development, software development, business development, new market entry, and M&A.Over 2 1/2 years from 2013 to 2015, our senior team transformed the Sunrun business model from a B2B financing company to a direct to consumer business, scaled the company 6x, to ~$1.5 billion in contract value sales, and took the company public in mid 2015.Led acquisition and integration of a direct-to-consumer solar integrator and a digital marketing platform; scaled the consumer business 11x in seven quarters (from #7 to #2 in the industry).Led a software team of 40 developers to develop a proprietary suite of software tools across system design, point of sale, websites, operations, and customer/mobile tools.Built a direct to consumer platform with six main customer acquisition channels including digital marketing, advertising, referrals, and strategic relationships including Costco and Comcast. Developed a new-to-industry point of sale model with substantial impact on unit revenue, conversion rates and customer acquisition costs.

Co-founded Bain's Private Equity Group in 1995. Led the business through global expansion over 15+ years to dominant market leadership and $1 billion+ enterprise value. Initiated and led 30+ client relationships with PE firms. Led 300+ transaction assignments and a number of high impact portfolio company transformations. Co-developed a broad investment program for Bain's global partners, which has invested ~$500 million in deal co-investments and LP positions.A global leader of Bain's business: Several senior operating and governance roles, including managing Bain's western US P&L, serving on Bain's Board, chairing the global Compensation Committee, and Bain's Nominating Committee (executive committee/general partner for Bain's partner shareholders).
